Year 1996 -- The Stone was summoned. At first, band worked under the band name of Stone to Flesh.

February 1997 -- the band have entered Cesnjak studio and recorded its first demo entitled “Serbian Woods”.

February 1998 -- the band recorded its second demo called “Killed by the Sun”. Demonion Productions from Greece, released “Unveiled Evil” limited tape which consisting both recorded demo materials.

Winter of 1999/2000 -- band recorded the debut album called “Some Wounds Bleed Forever”.

Year 2000 -- first full-length was released on CCP Rec. / Austria.

In February/March 2002 band had enetred Kazablanka studio and recorded second album called “Slovenska Krv”. The album was released by Wolfcult Prod. (ex-Solistitium Rec.) / Germany.

In December 2002, band recorded two new songs as an opening bonus for the re-release of old demos. This time old demo tape Unveiled Evil was put on CD called “Tragom Hromoga Vuka” released in the March 2003 also by Wolfcult Prod. (ex-Solistitium Rec.).

In winter 2003/2004 band recorded 3^rd full-length titled “Zakon Velesa”, released through Solistitium Records.

In December 2004 The Stone released 7’inch EP “Cujete li, smeju nam se mrtvi…” through Czech label Eclipse Productions, (now Long Ago Records).

August 2005, The Stone signed a deal with cult German label Folter Records.

During winter of 2006, band recorded fourth full-length album “Magla” which was released on Folter Records later in June same year. Also live split 7’ EP with Czech Inferno called “Triumph Dark Brotherhood” was released on Undercover Records as well as split DVD with May Result on Pagan Flames Productions.

2007 -- the band is mostly active in live performances and also working on a new material. Grom Records re-released the band’s debut record and this time with different album title “Neke rane krvare vecno” and with two bonus songs and video. Meanwhile some line-up changes took place.

January 2008 -- band entered Draft studio to record 4 songs for its first 10’ inch mini LP which will be released on Diabolist Services Cult/USA during summer. Also Czech label Zero Budget will release The Stone’s first and now cult demo “Serbian Woods” on limited pict.7’ EP.

The Stone will enter the studio on late summer of 2008 to record 5th full-length album. Until the next sacrilegious manifest…HELL!
